Ford Mondeo Mk1 front bumper removal

Here is how I removed the front bumper on my UK 1994 Ford Mondeo GLX hatchback.
You should work from the Ford workshop manual or the Haynes manual.
Attempt this only if you are good at car repair and aware of all the safety requirements.

Step 4. Remove the bumper.

Note that if you have a low air temperature sensor, you will need to disconnect it during bumper removal.

Carefully pull the bumper off, making sure it doesn't fall to the ground and get damaged, get a friend to help.

Note that the bumper-retainers on the 2 sides of the car are slide fittings so the bumper will simply slide off them...

Refitting.

Reverse the above instructions. When installing the bumper get a friend to help, especially to ensure that the bumper goes onto the slide-fitting on each side of the car correctly. When refitting the under-bumper-trim, make sure that you fit it correctly into the slot in the bumper.
