Ford Mondeo Mk1 front bumper removal

Here is how I removed the front bumper on my UK 1994 Ford Mondeo GLX hatchback.
You should work from the Ford workshop manual or the Haynes manual.
Attempt this only if you are good at car repair and aware of all the safety requirements.

Step 1. Preperation.

On both sides of the car, remove the 2 torx screws which fix the under-bumper-trim to the front of the front-wheel-arch trim.
Here are the 2 torx screws viewed from underneath (passenger-side)...

And here is a view after the 2 torx screws have been removed (drivers side)...

Now carefully manipulate the front of the front-wheel-arch-trim out of its slot on the bumper.
Here is a view after doing that (drivers-side)...

Obviously you need to do the above on both sides of the car.

Also if you have extra accessories located in the bumper, such as headlamp-washers, front-foglights, etc, you need to disconnect their wires or tubes.
